The hotel is located next to the station but unless you knew that you probably wouldn't guess as there was no train noise. Its in a very convenient location and though it may seem on the outside of town its actually just a short walk from the centre. You can cross the street and follow the road almost opposite directly to the cathedral OR just turn left and follow the main road down to the Bridge and you will reach the park and the river. (basically turn left when you get to that bridge and you'll soon arrive at all the riverside restaurants) Parking - The parking is at a public car park directly under the Hotel, in fact its under the whole block and its huge however the entrance is easy to miss. It is a small turning almost directly infront of the hotel with bollards guiding you down into a sloped entrance (which is why its easy to miss) so you may miss it the first time. There are loads of spaces and its very good value in terms of city parking 7 Euros = 24hrs. The most important thing to know is that the entrance into the parking is very low! I have a Landrover Discovery which fitted however if I had a roof box it wouldn't! Ive stayed elsewhere in Amiens without designated parking and Ive had to walk to unload and the car has been a fair distance away so this was great. The rooms are compact but typical of this style of city centre hotel in France and adequate for sleeping after a night eating/ drinking out. We were only there for a short stopover so this hotel suited all our needs perfectly. I asked for close rooms for my family and we were designated a connecting room which was a bonus. Dogs are welcome also and he was also permitted in the small breakfast area. Breakfast was typical continental in style with cheese meat, breads, pastries, cereal. It was included in my booking which overall I though was good value. There a coffee machine in the room too. I would not hesitate to stay here again for both convenience and affordability.

The staff members are very kind. A gentleman at the front desk helped me with the heaviest part of the baggage in such a way that he took it out of the boot of my car parked in the parking below the hotel, and brought it to my room. Another receptionist came up to my room to solve a problem I had in opening the room door. The receptionist with whom I did the check out is very friendly and helpful. The breakfast is good. The only flaw is that there were no sweet fruits, only sour ones. The room was quite calm. Just a few door slams were audible, but not late in the evening or during the night. The bed was comfortable and the desk is very adequate for the work usually performed on that kind of furniture.

Our 2nd stay (last one ~3 years ago) here on our final leg back to the UK from Spain. Nothing had changed since the previous visit... and IMO, "if it ain't broke, why fix it?". The reception staff were helpful and friendly on both checkin and checkout, the breakfast was lovely. The rooms are very clean, a fair size with a large, very comfortable bed.. great bathroom with shower and air-conditioning, all of which were much welcomed after being in a car for 1000km from Perpignan. We'll definitely book again in the future if in the area!

The hotel was on a main road and was easy to locate. The staff were friendly and helpful. The accommodation was quite spacious and comfortable including the bathroom. Free Wi-Fi, tea and coffee were provided. Breakfast was varied and plentiful. We only stayed one night as we were travelling back to Paris. The hotel suited our needs and was located very close to numerous restaurants along the river, leading to a memorable last night in the European stage of our holiday!

Easy to find and good public car park nearby (Amiens 2, €7/24 hours). Nice large room, not overfurnished so plenty of space. Very good coffee-maker in room. Extremely friendly & helpful staff. Good breakfast by French standards (no cooked breakfast). Simple choice but all excellent quality, well managed. Really good coffee. Great view of cathedral, easy walk into town and other attractions such as hortillonages, so location unbeatable.
